It was a colourful day at ITEN-ELGEYO MARAKWET COUNTY as officials and stakeholders kicked off the event with a 2 & 5km fun race to start of a journey of "The Tree is Life campaign" which is an initiative aimed at planting 10 Million trees by 2015 as part of the broader UN 'Plant a BILLION tree Campaign'.
KOEE amongst other stakeholders attended this launch whereby tree planting was done by both stakeholders and students which then was followed by entertainment from schools in the region and rounded up with speeches from respective officials including our very own CEO Dr.Dorcas Otieno
