KOEE in partnership with Global One 2015 and ACT (Act, Change and Transform) held a three-day workshop on faith-based non-formal education for sustainable development at Kaimosi Farmer’s Training Center in Western Kenya. This workshop hosted 25 representatives from; the Anglican Church of Kenya, the Catholic Church in Kenya, the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, Seventh-Day-Adventists, Kenya Holy Christ Mission, and Shirly Ministries (Christian) and Muslims. The purpose of the workshop was to involve faith leaders in how their communities can respond to the challenges of climate change such as reduced food security, environmental degradation, and biodiversity loss as well as sustainability issues. Information giving and collaboration was achieved through presentations on strategic training areas, focus group discussions and practical field sessions in line with thematic areas of training
