KOEE along with its partner Alliance of Religions for Conservation (ARC) held a consultative workshop on Faith Based Environmental Education in Nairobi at JJ McCathy Centre. The groups targeted by this workshop come from three of Kenya’s largest religious groups: Christians,Muslims, and Hindus. This workshop aimed to bring together organizations and faith leaders to outline a clear agenda after two milestones: the launch of the long-term plans by the faiths and launch of the ESD Teacher’s Toolkit for formal education. The forum examined the progress made and lessons learned, as well as provided a forum to discuss strategies to further develop and move the non-formal ESD agenda to the next level in Kenya and the African Region
